People Plan for Volunteers with Disabilities.

FA Grant award

People Plan - Recruitment of volunteers with disabilities.

AFC Stoneham is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from Hampshire FA to support our recruitment of volunteers with disabilities.

We have created a People Plan with a specific goal of using the creation of our disability teams to attract volunteers with disabilities, which is part of our Club Development Plan.

We have created a Deaf Team (Adults) and a Pan-Disability Team (Children) both of which began training in January 2024 in preparation for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. We continue to seek players and volunteers for these teams, as well as within our mainstream pathways. If you’d like to become involved, please contact Mark Stupple at chairman@afcstoneham.co.uk.

AFC Stoneham is hugely proud to be developing our Disability Pathway further and the grant award for our Disabled Volunteers People Plan is another step forward and recognition of the work being undertaken.

We would like to thank Hampshire FA and especially Glenn Brailey for their support towards our club in respect of Pan Disability Football.

Thank you
