Happy New Year!

2019 has been a phenomenal year for AFC Stoneham!

Our first team won promotion to the Wessex Premier League for the first time in our 100 year history on a never to be forgotten night at Totton in April, played a cup final at St Mary’s and currently sit 2nd in the higher league.

We continue to strengthen and develop our player pathway with 10 homegrown players having appeared for our first team this season.

Girls and Ladies football is growing all of the time with 5 new girls teams created in 2019, including our fantastic U8 and U9 Girls, with more to follow in the new year whilst our ladies team go from strength to strength.

The club is introducing very young players to the beautiful game on an almost daily basis through our Saturday Fun Club, Girls Wildcats Centre and our very young teams such as our brand new U6 "baby purps" section.

Whilst at the other end of the spectrum we were delighted to form two new veterans teams this year who are both proving to be very successful.

Many of our teams enter the new year near the top of their respective leagues and still in various cup competitions as we have now grown to 41 teams with over 500 players.

Not to forget another superb summer tournament, 7 teams going to Holland in June and of course, the "icing on the cake" has to be the move to our new £10M home next week!
