Great to see the children back playing today and using our new grass pitches for the first time.

Under 7 Spitfires

The Spitfires had a tough welcome back to playing post lockdown but today was not about the result or performance it was just about getting the boys back playing. Having said that the boys played well and if it wasn’t for the opposition having 1 outstanding player I’m sure things would have been different. Both Henry Polkinghorne & Brody Hibberd had their shooting boots on. We allowed the parents this week to vote for POTM as both coaches couldn’t decide so it went to Henry Polkinghorne for non stop energy throughout. So pleased to see all the boys happy faces today and that’s what was the most important thing today!

Under 7 Wolves

After lockdown the players were a little rusty against a very good and organised team. We were sloppy and for the first 2 quarters made it easy for the opposition. But we got ourselves going in the last 2 quarters. Some outstanding tackles from Tom and Reggie. Good work with and without the ball from Caleb but our MOTM went to Oscar for some outstanding team play with and without the ball. Tough game but as agreed by all the players it was just great to be back playing

Under 7 Jaguars

It was great to be back out today playing as a team after a month of eager waiting. The boys were all really happy to be back together, which was great to see. Unfortunately, Jags made a slow start and conceded a few early goals. However, their heads didn't go down, they kept fighting and by the 3rd quarter they were back to pre-lockdown performance levels. The boys all fought hard to redress the early defecit and the pressure they put Totton under was rewarded by several goals from Sam. Despite this, there wasn't enough time to get the win but the game was very competitive and all boys gave their absolute all. Player of the game went to Sam P.

Girls Under 10 Panthers

Our Girls U10 Panthers won 2-1 today in our first game back since lockdown. Meme and Maddison with our goals today in a great display. The girls showed great spirit throughout the game. Maddison was player of the match in her first game back to the team following her injury earlier in the season. Well done girls!

Girls Under 10 Pumas

The Under 10 Pumas Girls had a great game with Millie, Amelie, Macey, Tuula, Freya, Emily and Jessica all on fire in front of goal. Well done Girls on a tremendous performance.
