Whilst AFC Stoneham is very much a grassroots community club providing football for boys and girls at all levels we are always very proud when our players move onto professional clubs having played a very small part in their football journey.
We currently have many players training with Southampton, Chelsea, Brighton, Portsmouth, Swindon Town and AFC Bournemouth whilst expecting some of them to progress to signing academy contracts this summer.
From our girls teams six players have progressed into Southampton FC in the last 12 months with four at senior level whilst others have progressed to AFC Bournemouth and Fulham.
With the rapid development at our club amongst the younger girls age groups we are extremely proud to have an amazing eight girls currently in the U11 Southampton FC Elite Training Centre. Seven of them are pictured below in their Saints kit.
