AFC Stoneham are at home for a third consecutive league game as they host Brockenhurst in the Wessex Premier League on Tuesday 13th December.
AFC Stoneham:
Stoneham come into this game off the back of two successive 3-0 league victories, with the most recent coming against Hythe & Dibden.
Goals from Orvis, Callaghan and Ovington were enough to get the three points and move Stoneham up to 3rd in the table.
The Purps were victorious in the last meeting between these two sides, edging out a 10-man Brockenhurst in a 3-2 league cup victory, courtesy of a last-minute free kick from Cade Dyer.
Stoneham will look to build on their good form and keep a third successive clean sheet, but they know it will be a tough ask against threatening Brockenhurst side.
Brockenhurst:
The badgers will have waited 10 days to play a game of football, with their last match being a 2-0 win over close-competitors Bournemouth poppies.
Two goals from their top-scorer Speechley-Price was enough to seal the victory, taking his tally to 17 for the season.
Stoneham already know the threat that Brockenhurst’s top-scorer possesses, having conceded against him in the most recent match-up between the two.
Brockenhurst currently sit 12th in the table and will look to get revenge on Stoneham for knocking them out of the league cup, making this an exciting midweek game to watch.
