Another fantastic day for female football at AFC Stoneham.
The day started at 7am with an interview on BBC Radio Solent with U14 Eagles and Womens Euro flag bearer Lexie Hall and mum Claire.
Tonights BBC South programme included live coverage from our ground as 50 of our girls displayed their skills in front of the cameras whilst 4 of the girls held live interviews around their football dreams and aspirations.
Tonight at St Mary's twelve of our young 8 and 9 year old girls, who came through our Wildcats programme, led out the Norway and Northern Ireland teams as player mascots whilst another twelve of our girls age 12-16 were flag bearers as they will be for all three games at St Mary's.
Live radio and tv coverage with 75 of our girls involved!
A wonderful day not only illustrating our clubs 100% commitment to the female game but also highlighting our growth and development which has seen us increase our female teams from one, three years ago, to twenty five next season.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to a fantastic day !
