AFC Stoneham hostMoneyfields in the Wessex Premier League on Tuesday 6th December with a 7:45pm kick-off.
AFC Stoneham:
Stoneham return home following a narrow 3-2 defeat to table-toppers AFC Portchester last Saturday.
Martins and Orvis scored the goals, but Stoneham were just edged out of the game after putting in a fearless display against top of the league, something that many teams can’t say about themselves.
Martins’ goal now means that he has scored 25 this season, with 11 of these coming in the league, so he will be looking to take this good form into the game on Tuesday.
Stoneham currently sit 5th in the league, one point off Moneyfields, meaning that a win would take them above the opposition, whilst still having a game in hand on them.
Moneyfields:
Moneyfields were founded in 1987 and are a club based in Portsmouth, managed by Glenn Turnball.
They come into this game in flying form, losing just one in their last eight games, with the loss coming against Shaftesbury.
Their most recent game was on Friday, where they beat Blackfield& Langley 1-0, courtesy of a free-kick from Ryan Pennery.
Moneyfields also have the fourth highest scorer in the league this season, with Callum Laycock netting 17 goals in 17 games in all competitions, meaning that Stoneham’s defence need to be on top form to stop his goal a game ratio.
